Consumer Information & Rights

Clients have the right to access their health care records, contact the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC), and file a complaint regarding licensed health care professionals.

Requesting Health Care Records

You may request copies of your health care records by submitting a written request directly to your counselor. Requests will be processed in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.

Filing a Consumer Complaint
